The Hyborean World
The Hyborean world is and ancient era of our own world as imagined by R. E. Howard in his Conan tales. It is a mixture of cultures with more than passing resemblance to historical ones. Many of the peoples, places and deities are only briefly mentioned by REH, therefore new ones are added to the campaign (from Xoth or made up) as needed. For example many of the deities worshipped by the historical cultures are not mentioned in Conan stories and some have been changed as needed.
